Department of Food Science and Technology-IPB

The Department of Food Science and Technology at Bogor Agricultural University (IPB) is one of the oldest Departments of its kind in Indonesia. The Department was founded in 1964 under the Faculty of Agricultural Engineering and Technology. The Department focuses in the areas of food science and food technology, especially in food chemistry, food microbiology, food process engineering, food analysis, food quality and safety. The Department of Food Science and Technology holds Undergraduate in Food Technology, Masters in Food Technology and Food Science, and Doctor in Food Science programs. We have approximately 450 undergraduate students and a hundred Masters and Doctorate students per year studying in various areas of food science. Our undergraduate and graduate students come from almost all provinces in Indonesia. More than 4,000 of our alumni are working in various food-related sectors in our country and abroad. Assalamualaikum, Saya Ahmad Nashir Tsalata (ANT), saat ini menjadi mahasisa tingkat akhir mayor teknologi pangan, Departemen Ilmu dan Teknologi Pangan, Fakultas Teknologi Pertanian, IPB. Minat saya adalah rekaya proses produksi dan substitusi kedelai pada tempe serta aplikasi Mocaf pada produk bakery. Saya memulai menulis dalam blog ini untuk membagi pengetahuan dan pengalaman saya terkait pangan serta berbagai opini saya mengenai isu politik dan Islam.
